NPC VC Wagle's resignation approved

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Council of Ministers held in Singhdurbar on Sunday approved resignation of National Planning Commission Vice Chair, Dr Swarnim Wagle.

Vice Chair Wagle had submitted his resignation from the post to the Cabinet today.

Following the meeting, Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli shared that the meeting thanked Wagle for his contribution during his tenure.

Ministers duo Lalbabu Pandit and Thammaya Thapa were present in the meeting.

Wagle announces resignation from NPC VC post

KATHMANDU: Vice-Chairman of the National Planning Commission, Dr Swarnim Wagle, has announced to tender his resignation today.

Informing the media persons about the development construction activities and policy-level matters run by NPC during his six-month term, Wagle said, "I will tender my resignation to Prime Minister today itself. I decided to relieve myself so as to facilitate work execution of the new government."

On the occasion, he also released a publication titled '14-year Sustainable Development Goals' published by NPC.
