KATHMANDU: The cash transaction department of Nepal Rastra Bank will remain open during Dashain.

According to Rajendra Rimal, the assistant director of the bank, the department will remain open from 12 noon to 2pm from Friday, September 25, to Tuesday, October 1.

He claimed that the banks of various A, B and C categories and finance companies affiliated to Rastra Bank will be the only banks to remain open during Dashain for cash transactions.
