KATHMANDU: Nepal Student Union, a sister wing of the Nepali Congress, has decided to hold its general convention in the third week of June.

NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Sunday summoned NSU central president Ranjit Karna at his Budhanilkantha-based residence and inquired him of the union’s plans and preparations for the general convention.

In response, Karna said the NSU had planned to hold its general convention in the third week of June, according to NSU leader Rhishikesh Jung Shah, who was also present at the meeting.
