Kathmandu, January 14:

The ninth national convention of the Nepal Students’ Union (NSU) is slated to be held in Birgunj from March 12 to 14, the students’ body said in a press release today.

Campuses and universities based in Kathmandu are expected to hold their convention by February 22.

The Nepal Students’ Union has decided to form a 1001-member main working committee.

The committee will be led by Kishor Singh Rathore, the president of the NSU.

The NSU also urged the government to address demands put forward by the JTMM.

The constitutional assembly polls should be conducted on time, it said.
