NSU stages protest against petro price hike

KATHMANDU: Nepal Student’s Union (NSU), the student wing of main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) staged demonstration in protest of price hike in petro products, in Kathmandu on Friday.

NSU took out a rally from the Exhibition Road to Ratnapark. Addressing the rally organized by the NSU Kathmandu and NSU Central Committee, its general secretary Kundan Raj Kafle accused the incumbent government of increasing price of petro products for commission.

NSU Vice-president Nabin Rai and leaders including Ram Prasad Adhikari protested the government's interference on independent judiciary and attempt to release the murder-accused from life imprisonment.
