NSU wings strive for unity

Kathmandu, August 2:

Students affiliated to both wings of the Nepal Students’ Union, who arrived here from Karnali, today decided to take the issue of Nepali Congress and Nepali Congress-Democratic unification as their primary agenda.

The students decided this at a joint gathering to support both parties at the Nepal Law Campus.

They said that unification of the two factions of the Nepali Congress is a primary need ahead of the forthcoming election to constituent assembly polls and decided to press the top leaders of both parties for unification.

The gathering also decided to hold an assembly at the Biswo Bhasa Campus on August 6 to facilitate unification between the two parties to ensure better strategies for the CA election.
