KATHMANDU: A woman died after the motorcycle she was riding on met with an accident in Sinamangal, Kathmandu on Thursday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Rabina Ojha (19) of Itahari in Sunsari district, currently residing in Pingalasthan.

According to police, the incident occurred when the Bus (Ba 2 Kha 5421) rammed the motorcycle (Ba 80 Pa 3738) from behind injuring pillion rider Ojha, along the ring Road near the Airport Cargo and Custom Office at 6:00 am today.

The injured Ojha was rushed to the Sinamangal-based Kathmandu Medical College, where she breathed her last at 8:00 am during the course of treatment today, informed police.

Meanwhile, police have impounded the four-wheeler for further investigation.
