KATHMANDU: Police arrested a man in possession of 100 gram undeclared gold at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The suspect has been identified as Rajendra Gurung (24) of Archale-1 of Syangja district.

He had landed at the TIA from Bahrain on an Air Arabia flight G9531, police said.

Gurung was detained by the police during a security check.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
