KATHMANDU: Police on Wednesday said a man allegedly involved in a theft case has been nabbed from Kathmandu.

Police have identified the arrestee as Arjun Bahadur Shrestha (31) of Sailengeshwori in Dolakha, who is a current resident of Sallaghari in Bhaktapur district.

According to police, three people including Shrestha had barged into the house of Bhagwan Khatri in Shivabasti of Suryabinayak Municipality-12 in the district breaking the padlock of front door.

They had fled away with gold ornaments and cash Rs 10,000.

Police have nabbed a motorcycle allegedly used in the act and are searching for Shrestha's accomplices.
