KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday appointed Padam Sundas as Nepali Ambassador to Bahrain on the recommendation of Council of Ministers.

According to a press statement issued by the President's Office today, the head-of-the-state made the decision in accordance with the Article 282.1 of the Constitution of Nepal.

It has been learned that Sundas is the permanent resident of Inaruwa-2 in Sunsari district.
