KATHMANDU: Pop star Nabin K Bhattarai shared his happiness after meeting former Crown Prince Paras Shah "after a long time" on Sunday.

An excited Bhattarai shared his moments on his social media accounts after meeting the latter at Trisara, a restaurant in Kathmandu yesterday.

The two are schoolmates, according to Bhattarai.

In recent years, Shah seems much absent from social life. The man, who was frequently dragged into controversies for his "indisciplinary behaviours" before, during and after his royalty, had spent some years in Thailand after abolition of the monarchy in 2008.

He returned to Nepal last year, but is not intimate with his family including father, former King Gyanendra Shah, and wife, former Crown Princess Himani Shah, according to reports.
