KATHMANDU: The Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee (PHSC) has decided to issue a notice for the parliamentary hearing of two judges recommended for the appointment as the Supreme Court justices.

A meeting of the Committee held at Singha Durbar today decided to issue the notice through the mass media for the parliamentary hearing of Tej Bahadur KC and Purushottam Bhandari.

"The time for making complaints against the justice nominees through the media has been fixed for 10 days. A decision would be taken after discussing the complaints that are received within this deadline," said the Committee Chairman Kul Bahadur Gurung.

The Judicial Council on January 2 had recommended KC and Bhandari for the apex court judgeship.
