Hearing on proposed ambassadors to India, China concludes
KATHMANDU: The Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee (PHSC) on Wednesday concluded hearing on proposed ambassadors for India and China.
The Committee held the hearing on Deep Kumar Upadhyay and Leela Mani Paudyal. Upadhyay was recommended as an ambassador to India and Paudyal to China.
Presenting the agendas in course of the hearing, the nominees expressed their commitment to further strengthen and expand the bilateral relationship between Nepal and the host countries as well as taking the ties to a new height.
They also pledged to keep national interest above everything else during their tenure as ambassadors.
