Pedestrian injured in Bouddha scooter hit

KATHMANDU: A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a scooter at Bouddha, Kathmandu on Tuesday evening.

According to Metropolitan Police Circle, Bouddha, the injured has been identified as Man Bahadur Subba (65) of Tehrathum, currently residing at Chuchepati, Kathmandu.

The incident occurred at around 9 pm yesterday.

Subba is undergoing treatment at the Chabahil-based Medicare National Hospital and Research Centre.

Police said that they are searching for the scooter (Ba 68 Pa 7640) rider who fled the scene after the incident.
