KATHMANDU:  A man has been arrested for selling petrol hiking the price taking advantage of the current crisis.

The detainee has been identified as Raj Kumar Jaisawal (23) of Birgunj in Parsa, residing temporarily in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-14.

Jaisawal had brought petrol in a vehicle (Ba 10 Cha) and was selling it at Rs 500 per litre in Balkhu of Kathmandu.

A team of police deployed from Metropolitan Police Circle, Kalimati had acted on a tip-off to nab Jaisawal.

The police are investigating into the case.
