Plea to raise youth voice at NDF meet
Kathmandu: The Youth Initiative, with support from the World Bank is organising six workshops to raise the youth voice in the upcoming Nepal Development Forum (NDF) meeting from May 5 to 6. The workshops aim at raising youth issues to push the NDF meeting recognise youth as potential partners for national development.
The workshops have been categorised under the themes: Youth in politics and governance, youth in business, entrepreneurship and professional fields, youth in social work and activism, youth in arts, youth students and youth in media. Each workshop will consist of 15 to 20 youth participants, with at least two from outside the valley. The final outcome document from the conference will be submitted and presented during the NDF meeting. —HNS
