PM asks Gachhadar to sit for talks

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushil Koirala on Friday invited Chairman of MJF-Democratic Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar, who had decided to quit the Constituent Assembly recently, for talks.

PM’s Press Adviser Prateek Pradhan said PM wanted to rope in Madhesi forces, including Gachhadar- led MJF-D, as far as constitution making process was concerned.

According to MJF-D General Secretary Ram Janam Chaudhary, the PM told Gachhadar over phone that “we should find a way out of the crisis facing the country”. Chaudhary said Gachhadar told PM that he could discuss issues on individual basis if the government was really serious to find a solution.
