PM gives law and order priority

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on Saturday said that his government was committed to maintain law and order situation in the country. Speaking at a cadres’ meet organised by the UML Kathmandu Municipality-35 ward committee, PM Nepal also asked the political parties and police administration not to shield the criminals. “It will be meaningless to stay in the government without maintaining law and order situation in the country,” he added. Nepal also said that he has directed the police administration to control the criminal activities at the earliest. Police must control abductions, murders and criminal activities in the country, he said. Nepal also expressed his commitment to punish murder accused.
