PM instructs OPMCM staff for efficiency
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal urged civil servants at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers to work efficiently for achievement of the goals set by the government.
PM Dahal invited all staff of his office to the OPMCM, Singhadarbar and delivered instructions just a day after he had instructed the government secretaries to become result-oriented.
"I have directed (officials) about priorities and plans of the government at the secretary-level meeting yesterday," he told the OPMCM staff, "Please do your job to produce results accordingly."
Dahal further urged all of them to accelerate as the government would have a shorter time to meet its objectives, according to a statement issued by his Secretariat.
The PM, meanwhile, vowed to work for the Constitution amendment and its implementation, reconstruction, effective development, good governance and prosperity in the nation as the government priorities.
He said the government would hold local, provincial and federal elections by January 2018, read the statement.
Speaking at the meeting, Chief Secretary Somlal Subedi briefed Dahal about the government's plans, progresses and problems.
