Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has emphasized that underprivileged communities will be uplifted through improved access to education and employment opportunities.

Speaking at the 29th Establishment Day of the Tajpuriya Social Welfare Council in Gauradaha, Jhapa, on Monday, PM Oli stated that the government is committed to transforming members of underprivileged communities into entrepreneurs by facilitating the establishment of small-scale industries tailored to their needs.

He pledged to prioritize addressing the demands of the Tajpuriya community while encouraging them to preserve and promote their art, culture, and traditions with a forward-thinking approach. "I assure you that the concerns raised by the Tajpuriya community will be resolved promptly," he affirmed.

The Tajpuriya community, with a population of approximately 21,000, primarily resides in the Jhapa and Morang districts of Koshi Province.
