KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 1
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to embark on an official visit to the People's Republic of China on Monday. Invited by Chinese Premier Li Qiang, the Prime Minister will visit China from December 2 to December 5.
During his visit, Prime Minister Oli will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing and hold bilateral talks with his counterpart Premier Li. Discussions will center on matters of mutual interest, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Prime Minister is also scheduled to meet Zhao Leji, Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. He will deliver a keynote address at an event at Peking University in Beijing.
Additionally, he will address the Nepal-China Business Forum, co-hosted by the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by his spouse, Radhika Shakya.
The Nepali delegation, led by the Prime Minister, will include Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Economic and Development Advisor Dr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada, members of parliament, senior government officials, private sector representatives, and media personnel, as confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The delegation is scheduled to return to Kathmandu on December 5.
