PM says govt'll expand, but won't fall, after NC convention
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said the incumbent government would not topple after the Nepali Congress convention; instead it would expand.
Amid speculations that the government would change after the ongoing 13th national general convention of the largest party of the Parliament, PM Oli tweeted on Friday to deny the reports.

Meanwhile, speaking at a party function in Kathmandu today, Oli reiterated the same.
"It is said that the government would change after the Congress convention," he said at a seminar in the Capital today, "That language is not appropriate."
"What is right is that the government will expand after the convention. The Nepali Congress will also join the government."
He was of the opinion that the government would not topple anytime soon as it had already initiated the post-earthquake reconstruction drive and solved the border blockade.
"Some people had begun to claim that the government would fall down after being choked by the blockade or after worsening the relationship with neighbours," he said, "But, the oppositions might have been restless after improvement in relationship with the neighbours."
