KATHMANDU: The cabinet meeting on Wednesday decided that it will be Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal who will take the final decision on the Army Chief row.

The cabinet also decided to dispatch secretaries of Defence, Home and Physical Planning and Construction Ministries to inspect the Koshi region.

According to the Minister for Finance Surendra Pandey the meeting decided to celebrate Jestha 15 as the Republic Day with great pomp and the Republic Monument would also be installed on the same day in Ratna Park.
