CPN-UML leader Ishwor Pokhrel has said that the restoration of the local bodies will help in the establishment of a loktantric republic in Nepal. Addressing a gathering of journalists here today, Pokhrel said we can establish 80 per cent of the people’s representatives and the 20 per cent of those deceased or those who had been the pawns of the regression can be replaced on the basis of political understanding. He said the Gorkhapatra and other media should be converted into co-operatives.
