Police chiefs return home from IACP Annual Conference
KATHMANDU: Inspector Generals of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force, Upendra Kant Aryal and Durja Kumar Rai, on Friday afternoon returned home from the United States after taking part in the IACP Annual Conference and Exposition.
Senior police officials had welcomed the duo at the Tribhuvan International Airport this afternoon.
Chiefs of the national police forces had attended the annual event organised by the International Association of Chiefs of Police in California of the US.
Upon his arrival at the TIA today, Aryal said the Conference discussed various issues in challenges of police organisations, police-public relation, critical incident management, crisis intervention, law enforcement technology, combating violent extremism and terrorism among others.
The police bosses had left for the US on Thursday last week.
