Police inspector robbed
Kathmandu, July 27:
An armed gang of three unidentified persons robbed police inspector Dinesh KC of valuables at Baneshwor height today.
According to the Metropolitan Police Circle, New Baneshwor, police inspector KC and his wife were robbed of the valuables while they were heading to Sankata Temple in Tebahal on a motorcycle.
“Three persons accosted us when we were heading towards the temple. They snatched the key of my motorcycle, robbed us of two rings and fled before we could cry for help,” KC said.
According to KC, one ring was diamond-studded while the other was made of gold.
Superitendant of Police at the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, Sarbendra Khanal said investigation into the incident was underway.
