Police office gheraoed over killing
Kathmandu, November 16:
Demanding action against those involved in the killing of a student of Kathmandu Institute of Science (KIST), locals of Bouddha and KIST students today gheraoed the District Police Office Hanumandhoka.
Four people had attacked Navaraj Bajgain, a KIST student, in Bouddha on Monday. Bajgain was found dead in Arubari yesterday.
“We urge the police to take action against those involved in the killing of Bajgain,” said Bishnu Prasad Acharya, a neighbour of Bajgain.
Acharya accused police of accepting bribe from the foursome.
SP at the Valley Crime Investigation Branch, Hanumandhoka, Keshav Adhikary, said some people had been arrested on the suspicion of their involvement in the incident.
