Political consensus to end National Assembly formation dispute: CPN MC
KATHMANDU: CPN Maoist Centre central office meeting on Monday has concluded with leaders agreeing to seek a political consensus to end current impasse between left alliance and government on National Assembly formation.
“CPN MC asserts that a political agreement must be forged to resolve the issue,” Pampha Bhusal Party Spokesperson said, “The public have endorsed the left alliance and party unification. Thus, we will move forward accordingly.”
According to Bhusal, lack of effective publicity and no candidacies in 60 percent of the constituencies resulted in MC’s setback in Proportional Representation elections.
