KATHMANDU: A Portuguese national died after he fell unconscious in Thamel of Kathmandu on Wednesday.

According to police, Manuel Paul (53) had fallen unconscious while he was on his way to have a beverage at Himalayan Java at the Mandala Street of Thamel yesterday.

He was rushed to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for treatment.  But, he died during treatment there, police said.
