The monsoon wind has made its presence felt across the country, resulting in partly to generally cloudy weather conditions. The influence of this seasonal weather pattern has been observed throughout Nepal.
According to the latest report from the Meteorological Forecasting Division, several areas in Koshi, Bagmati, and Karnali provinces are currently experiencing light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning. There is possibility of light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning at some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces and few places of rest of the provinces this afternoon, added the Division.
Similarly, a few areas in the other provinces might also witness similar weather conditions, as stated by the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
Moreover, heavy rainfall is anticipated in one or two specific locations within the Koshi and Bagmati provinces. The Division has also forecasted the likelihood of strong winds and storms in many parts of Koshi and Madhes provinces, as well as a few areas in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
