KATHMANDU, APRIL 18

President Bidya Devi Bhandari has reappointed Ram Bahadur Thapa, who had lost his Ministership following removal from the National Assembly, as the Home Minister of the Government of Nepal, on Sunday.

Earlier today, Thapa was removed as a lawmaker from the National Assembly after the party that he represented at the Upper House, CPN- Maoist Centre, submitted a letter to the NA on April 9 informing it of Thapa's expulsion from the party.

Home Minister Thapa will be administered oath of office and secrecy at the official residence of the President, Shital Niwas, at 5:00 pm.
