ABU DHABI: President Bidya Devi Bhandari arrived to Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates, en route to Nepal from Geneva today.

Charge d'affaires at the Nepali Embassy in the UAE Netra Bahadur Tandan, and other officials welcomed President Bhandari at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

President Bhandari was accompanied by Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Shanker Das Bairagi, Personal Secretary Dr Bimala Poudel Rai, and other senior officials of the Foreign Ministry.

The Head-of-State is scheduled to return home from Abu Dhabi today itself.
