Newly-elected President Ram Chandra Paudel has renounced his affiliation to the Nepali Congress after being elected to the post of President on March 9.
Paudel informed to the Nepali Congress central office, informing it about his dissociation with the party as its member as he has been elected the President, said the party's chief secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel.
President-elect Paudel is scheduled to take oath of office and secrecy tomorrow.
The Office of the President has made preparation for organising a special ceremony at 1:00pm on Monday for the administration of oath to the newly-elected President.
