KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Monday donated her one month salary to the floods and landslides victims.

According to a press statement issued today,the donated amount would go to Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund, a relief fund set up by the government solely for the relief and rehabilitation of the disaster victims.

Similarly, President’s advisors have also donated their seven days salary while the secretaries donated their five days salary.

Likewise, the joint-secretaries donated their three-day salary, deputy secretaries and section officers provided two-day salary and other employees donated one day salary in the relief fund.
