KATHMANDU: President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on Thursday congratulated King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan on the occasion of the National Day of Bhutan.

In a message sent today, President Bhandari wished for the good health and happiness of the Bhutanese monarch and peace, prosperity and progress of the people there.

Similarly, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has sent a congratulatory message to his Bhutanese counterpart Lyonchen Tshering Tobgay on the same occasion.

In his message, PM Oli wished for progress and prosperity of the Bhutanese people.
