KATHMANDU: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav and Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal today expressed confidence that the recently-formed High-Level Political Mechanism (HLPM) will be helpful in writing the constitution on time and taking the peace process to a logical end. In a meeting held between the two leaders at the President’s office at Shital Niwas, the duo expressed confidence that the HLPM would play a positive role, Bishnu Rijal, the PM’s advisor, said. They also discussed the President’s upcoming visit to India. The PM had proposed a time-bound work plan to rehabilitate and integrate the Maoist combatants. — HNS
