KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Saturday extended cordial felicitations and best wishes to President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, on the occasion of the National Day of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.

Sending a felicitation message today, President Bhandari wished for her Algerian counterpart’s personal health and happiness and for the progress and prosperity of the Algerian people.

On the same occasion, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli also sent a congratulatory message to his Algerian counterpart, Abdelmalek Sellal, and wished the latter for his good health and happiness as well as progress and prosperity of the people of Algeria.

PM Oli said he was confident that the friendly relations existing between the two countries would grow further in the years ahead.
