KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court today handed over the text of the order that was issued on Wednesday to President Dr Ram Baran Yadav, Vice President Paramananda Jha and Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal to clarify on the delay in organising the oath of ceremony administer fresh oath to Vice President Jha. "All the three high office holders have received the text of the order," said an official of the SC. Jha also confirmed that he had received the text of the order but declined to elaborate.

The apex court had directed the authorities to submit an explanation within seven days on the delay of organising the oath taking ceremony and the decision of the Vice President whether or not to take the oath.

The Supreme Court scrapped the oath of office and secrecy taken in Hindi by Vice President Jha on July 23, 2008. The court ordered Vice President Jha to take fresh oath or to vacate the post.
