Priests appointed

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, in his capacity as the patron of the Pashupati Area Development Trust, on Wednesday appointed two Indian priests on the recommendation of Ministry of Culture. Girish Bhatta and Raghavendra Bhatta have been given charge of the Uttar Muhar Temple and Basukinath Temple, respectively. The posts had remained vacant for seven months. Meanwhile, former PADT executives and UCPN-Maoist cadres are yet to give up their protest against the move.
