KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, on Tuesday.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister apprised the President of problems facing the country due to India's unofficial blockade on Nepal and the ongoing agitation in the Tarai-Madhes, according to the Prime Minister's press advisor, Pramod Dahal.

Prime Minister Oli said he was committed to addressing the problems of Tarai-Madhes through talks and discussions and border blockade through diplomatic efforts.
