KATHMANDU: Chairperson of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has performed a special pooja at the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu. The PM lighted 125,000 battis (cotton wicks) for global peace and national welfare at the pooja held on Monday, the Pashupati Area Development Trust officials informed. PM Oli. who reached the temple premises at around 8 am, took stock of development activities in the Pashupati Area. The Prime Minister was accompanied by his spouse Radhika Shakya, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal, among others.
