The Alliance of Professional Institutes (API), comprising seven professional institutes, today held a press meet to disseminate information about its formation. “The API, formally established on April 3, is a platform formed aiming at enhancing cooperation, support and networking amongst professional institutes by sharing knowledge and information,” said Uttam Prasad Pant, principal of the Universal Language and Computer Institute. Ava Shah, MD of the Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management (SMSHM), said: “Thro-ugh this alliance we aim to upgrade and modify existing training progra-mmes by offering joint seminars, provi-ding incentive packages to trainees and ensure its social responsibility by jointly providing scholarships.”
