KATHMANDU: Prof Surya P Subedi has been elected chairman of the editorial board of the Asian Journal of International Law.

The journal is a prestigious journal published by Cambridge University Press.

He was elected to the post through the recently held 5th Biennial Conference of the Asian Society of International Law that was held recently in Bangkok, Thailand.

The meeting was attended by various prominent international lawyers, including judges of the International Court of Justice, members of the UN International Law Commission and distinguished law professors from world class universities from Asia and beyond.

Subedi is the professor of International Law at the University of Leeds in England as well as chairman of Global Policy Forum for Nepal.
