Programmes for kids’ cause

Kathmandu, June 6:

The Children-Women in Social Service and Human Rights (CWISH) will organise a series of programmes, including rallies, street dramas and other awareness-raising activities, from June 6 to June 13 to mark the World Day Against Child Labour, which falls on June 12. The ILO has been celebrating June 12 as the anti-child labour day for the last four years.

Meanwhile, Komal Prasad Kafle, executive officer, Lalitpur Sub-metropoliS, unveiled a code of conduct concerning child labour at a press meet held in the capital. The code of conduct is being implemented in six wards of Lalitpur from today.
