KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 747,000 was stolen from a rented room at Mahahadevsthan Marga of Koteshwor on Tuesday.

According to police, the thieves broke into the room of Binita Pathak, of Damak-9 in Jhapa, and stole Rs 77,000 cash and gold ornaments.

Pathak lives with four others in the same room.

Police said they are investigating into the case and are searching for the suspects.
