KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 1.7 million was reduced to ashes when a fire broke out at the Raze Ladies Tailors owned by Raju Shrestha in Balkumari of Lalitpur on Saturday.

Police said that the fire that broke out due to electric short circuit gutted a sewing machine and furniture among others.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
