KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 179, 000 was stolen from a rented room at Tyanglaphant in Kirtipur Municipality-3 of Kathmandu.

Thieves made off with a laptop, a mobile phone and a camera from the room of Krishna Prasad Dhungana who hails from Govindapur VDC-4 of  Morang district, said police.

It has been learned that the theft occurred while the room was unattended.

Meanwhile, police are investigaitng into the case and are searching for the culprits.
