PSC submits report

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Public Service Commission Umesh Prasad Mainali on Thursday submitted the 56th annual report of the PSC to President Ram Baran Yadav. Mainali said the PSC recommended to the government to roll back its decision to transfer government employees from one service to another. He said the government must consult the PSC while making appointments in government bodies. The PSC has suggested to the government to make bureaucracy accountable to the public. According to the PSC report, the number of women vying for government jobs have increased dramatically over the past few years.
