PSC urged to select police officers
Kathmandu, December 18:
Inspector General of Nepal Police, Om Bikram Rana, today said Nepal Police had asked the Public Service Commission to select gazetted officers for the organisation until the Police Service Commission was formed.
This move, according to IGP Rana, will avoid political interference and make the selection process fair.
Rana said this while speaking at a press meet organised by the Nepal Police Headquarters.
Nepal Police recently published the names of 52 candidates selected for the post of Police Inspector after the PSC finalised it.
