Rae hints at facilitating supply of essentials

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) Vice-President Ramchandra Paudel and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae held talks on Monday at the former's residence in Bohoratar in the capital city.

During the talks, the two discussed about Nepal-India relations and the latest political scenario in Nepal, including the blockade on cargos from India to Nepal.

On the occasion, leader Paudel appealed to the Indian envoy Rae to create favorable environment to facilitate the supply of the goods to Nepal. According to Paudel's personal aide Chiranjibi Adhikari, Rae has responded positively.

It is said that leader Paudel reaffirmed Rae that unity among the political parties would be forged for effective implementation of the new constitution.

Furthermore, the NC leader assured of the earliest resolution of the latest political unrest in the country through talks and dialogue.
